The weeks are flying by…we’re at the end of week four already!
nothing much happened this week…everybody found out about my secret crush on burak :P… oh and no more silly whats in the box games…yay
We had our first production meeting, that seemed to go well. Beth and i got to see the colour cards that tash n j rod have for the set…it helped knowing what they had in mind so we could start thinking bout the colour of the costumes. We have to start drawing some sketches…i think were gunna go for coops idea…everyone have the same costume/colour/material but for each character, a different cut…I have to get out and collect some samples of materials…
we are on schedule and are now up to Void #4, its coming along nicely…
so with nothing more to say im gunna boot…
heres to another week come and gone…

The weeks certainly are flying by…half way through Term One!!! I think you have settled in really well to the CRAZINESS of the Theatre Studies class. You now need to move on and take control of your own direction. Theatre Studies is very much a class which relies on a fair degree of self-motivation. The most impressive efforts this year have been those where people have taken the chance to do something of their own back. I could sit there or email everyone and tell them what they need to be doing…..but really this is counter-productive. I’d love to see you take control of what’s happening with costume and make-up. You and Beth each need your own designs to put into your folio…then you can add the final designs, which may end up being a combination of both of your ideas. Feel free to bring along a sketch book, magazine cut-outs, ‘net image searches and then be playing around with ideas while blocking is happening. It is no good leaving it until the last few weeks to rush some ideas together.
